We have that exact floatation canopy. I LOVE it! It keeps them up and you can actually wrap your arms around it and kick/swim them around so you're actually getting to move around in the water too. Easy to assemble, doesn't take long to blow up, packs away compactly. Noah loved it last year at 2.5 and we just used it last week with Cole (9 mos) and he loved it. I've only used the canopy once and I don't remember the sun protection but I don't remember it being bad. I highly recommend it.
