1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp table salt, optional
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional

12 oz uncooked spaghetti, cooked without added salt and fat, drained
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese, or Romano cheese
Instructions
- Coat a large saucepan with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat.
- Add onion to skillet; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garlic; cook 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, sugar and, if desired, salt and pepper flakes; bring to a simmer. Simmer uncovered 25 to 35 minutes or until sauce is desired consistency.
